AH Karate Foundation

Is led by Amarendra Nath Singha as the Coordinator in Charge with Sukumar Debnath as the Secretary General in charge of all karate affairs. The Azad Hind International Karate Foundation has appointed Kaicho Hoosain Narker, the world chief instructor of Ashihara Karate International as its Chief Technical Advisor.

Since its inception, the Azad Hind Karate wing was led by Shihan Dadi Bulsara of Ashihara Karate India, a senior member of Ashihara Karate International under the leadership of Kaicho Hoosain Narker, the World Chief Instructor based in Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2010, Shihan Bulsara hosted a AH training camp in Samudragarh which was attended by Kaicho Narker who we met for the first time. At the camp, many of our seniors attended the training including Senior teacher, Somnath Ghosh

After the sad demise of Shihan Bulsara, some charlatans took over his organisation and started confusing the karate fraternity with their claims. A few years after that, we came to the conclusion that the Azad Hind organisation was being taken in the wrong direction by these people. Research was done and contact was established with the World Headquarters of the AKI.

In October 2019, a meeting was held by the Committee of the Azad Hind with Kaicho Narker in Siliguri. The meeting was headed by Amarendra Nath Singha as Coordinator-in-Charge and other seniors including Sukumar Debnath, Somnath Ghosh and Raghunath Biswas. At that two day meeting and after much deliberation, it was decided that in order to offer our members the very best opportunities, the AHIKF would become direct members of both the AKI and WSF and to sever ties with the person whom we had associated with after Shihan Bulsara’s expiry.

That led to a delegation travelling to Hyderabad the following month to compete in the National Championships organised by C.A. Tamboli Shihan, president of Ashihara Karate India.

Then in December, Kaicho visited India and conducted two training camps for AH in Alipurduar and Krishna Nagar during 2019/2020 which cemented the relationship.
